The guards are made from 3/8thick plastic, which is 100% American made. This recycled material is even stronger than a lot of other brands out there since its made right here in the U.S.A. The is a great option instead of a traditional aluminum guard because of its superior resistance to abrasions, gouges, fracturing and breaking that can be experienced while out on the trails or the terrain. This material will absorb the impact without becoming damaged, making it last for a long time to come.
