The CPC Racing Grip Lock and Alarm is designed to secure to handlebars or steering wheels in less than 5 seconds preventing the vehicle from being moved. A high pitched alarms goes off when anyone attempts to remove the device from the handlebar without unlocking the device with the key. This easy-to-use device is highly visible, made from aircraft-quality aluminum, durable, water resistant and has a heavy-duty 10mm locking pin. How to use:
(1) To set alarm mode to ON, depress the key barrel ONCE and you will hear a single “beep”. Within 5 seconds you will hear a longer “beep” sound to indicate that the alarm is armed. Upon forced tampering the Grip Lock will first emit a warning sound. If tampering persists, the Grip Lock will activate as a 120 db alarm. To disarm the lock simply unlock the Grip Lock.
(2) You can also use the Grip Lock in a “lock only” mode. This is done by depressing the key barrel twice within 5 seconds. you will hear a double “beep-beep” sound to indicate that the alarm is OFF.
